About me

I am a 93 year old retired NHS GP with a lifelong interest in the causes of poverty. Several decades ago it became clear to me – and many others – that the rapid re-doublings of population which were beginning to take place in troubled countries across the world were making attempts to alleviate poverty impossible.

As a practising Catholic who recognises the tremendous charitable work that the Church does in the world’s poorest countries I have spent the last 40 years attempting to bring attention to this unfolding catastrophe and to call for an urgent change in Catholic teaching on contraception.

Thank you for reading.
